Also, without fail Jaeguchi has the worst translations. I think they use Google translate then throw it on yt. I'm not sure they actually speak Korean. :(

they 100% don't. It's impossible to translate yourself and post the video in that short amount of time + translation is terrible. often, sentences don't make sense and the pronouns are mixted.

When I first heard this album it was amazing, I still remembered that time. The most beautiful part in life era (3 albums) it’s amazing, all the songs are good, but not only that, they feel very personal, as you said it is like they are speaking from their hearts. I think that is why this was the era when BTS actually started getting big in Korea and also outside, because this album was super different from their previous one’s, and the sounds, production,lyrics, etc; where extremely different from the Kpop that we are used to hear, even more at that time (2015). Imagine an album like this in that year. It was sooo different, and I think the people started to see this new group, that it’s different, and that also has songs like moving on, that are extremely relatable and that touches your heart. But also you have dance songs like boyz with fun that are soo funny (that song live it’s amazing). And the you have love it’s not over ( one of my favorites till day), I need you, hold me tight. It’s a full package. I’m an army, so I’m biased obviously, but one of the things that all of the army’s say it’s that BTS albums, songs, and specific the lyrics, are that thing that separates BTS from the other Kpop groups, and that is why the growth at such level, while other groups couldn’t (not in bad way, I listen to almost every group as well, and I enjoyed the Kpop music a lot). But as you said is very difficult to find in Kpop sounds or music or lyrics like this, that it’s not the common in Kpop. And I think is because most of the idols don’t write their songs, so at the end all Kpop songs are similar, even tho they are amazing as well. However, the type of music BTS has is very special, and I think that is why ARMY is so big and it’s so proud of them, because we can say BTS title tracks are the typical formula of Kpop music, but their b-sides are so different, and the themes of their songs are soo relatable that you feel close to them, and that is why we built this connection with them. As you hear more albums, you are going to understand why they are what they are, and why they are BTS, and no one can be like them, because is very strange to find an artist, that you feel soo close, almost like real friends.

Glad you liked the album, they sure do have some more wacky and fun songs, too! Btw, if you're looking for a neat package of a few songs to check out from them sometime in the future, they used to have a mobile game, BTS World, I think it was called. They made four complete songs for the game's soundtrack called Heartbeat (with all of them), Dreamglow (Jimin, Jin and JK), All Night (RM and Suga, it think), and A Brand New Day (V and J-hope, once again I think). There's some featuring artists on them, as well, and it's a really interesting selection of songs :) Thanks for the video!

I look forward to your album BTS reactions and this one did not disappoint! I loved this album but it’s been a long time since listened to it…well except Dope and I need You since they are title tracks. I have to always remind myself that BTS makes really excellent B-sides too! Can’t wait for part 2! Think u’ll enjoy that album too. 💜

Also I just wanna point out the "I wanna see the stars on your shoes" from Jhope in Converse High... like the stars are on the soles of the shoe you know? And without Namjoon knowing... And then Suga's verse. It's just AAAH. Please re-read the lyrics if you have a chance, basically this song is a big converse kink hahahaha.

This and part 2 are 2 of my favorite albums. So surprising to me the “Boyz with Fun” was an unexpected BTS song for you.! To me it’s kind of core BTS. The title in Korean is Heung-Tan Sonyeondan, a mix of fun and their band name, which is an early nickname given to them by ARMYs because they were/are so hyper and fun loving. They took an ARMY nickname and made a song out of it 😂😂 which they actually performed a lot and even did on music shows. It’s iconic because pretty much everyone got to write a verse for it and for V’s random dance in the middle of the choreography. Every time he would adlib and new dance and the members would have to copy it right there. It was super fun!! Also V, being a total prankster would usually do something really cute or really dumb and then turn around to watch his members copying him. Often pointing and laughing 😂😂 we appreciate a man who’s main joy comes from getting Suga to wiggle his booty on stage 😂😂😂

I adore this album so much! fun fact, hold me tight is the first song which taehyung wrote on as a composer! so he was very proud of that song. also, I was reminded of a new video by SugArmyy (incredible editor) after you said that yoongi is a new bias for you after the intro called 'taehyung, the biggest yoongi fanboy' which is just a compilation of tae losing his mind over yoongi's songs lmao it's very cute and relatable
