Thank you so much for the album reaction! I always enjoy hearing your thoughts! I agree with you, I guess that the "natural" instruments sound makes BTOB's music kind of timeless. Like it goes beyond what's on "trend". Their voices are great too. I think BTOB is very early 3rd gen. I've heard people say they are 2.5 gen. Looking forward to your next reaction!

Ang Melodies

Ahhhh I love that you continue your BTOB journey.. This era was when I became a melody. NEW MEN, this was the first album where the title track was selected from member's composed song (I'll be Your Man by Hyunsik). Since this, the title tracks of their new albums were all composed by the members (except Outsider). I think this could also be a remark when they finally got a hold of how they wanted their albums will be, regarding the theme, the songs, everything. And you're correct about their songs feel like has that old school vibe, in a good way. I think it's because most of them mainly live in the past, lol. Like, their musical brains were heavily influenced by 80 90s music. Especially Hyunsik, which gives a big influence in BTOB music (he's known as BTOB's father of music). And you're true about live instrument, if you remember I'll be Your Man, there're strings there, they literally recorded a group of string players for the instruments. That's why their songs feel like going from their hearts to our hearts considering how they take attentions in every detail. Ilhoon... *sigh.. I'm happy you finally know why melody feel so sad about him leaving the group. Aside of their brotherhood which makes us love them so much, his voice, his tone, the way he rap, it just screams BTOB so much. 7 BTOB is what we know as BTOB, they are all so different but glue so well together, to the point it feels empty without 1 of them. We're all still praying for a miracle to happen. I can't wait for your next BTOB album reaction. What will you react to?
