the singing part in city 127 that you were talking about was taeyong

I enjoy this album a lot, it's probably my least favorite of NCT 127's full albums when compared with Neo Zone and Sticker, but it has a lot of great and beautiful songs. Replay is so good and during their concerts this was such as fun interactive song, there was choreo for the fans to do with lightsticks, it was great. Mark and Taeyong weren't on the song just because it was supposed to be vocal focused. Knock On is GORGEOUS I listen to it all. the. time. NCT Interludes, Intros and Outros are always so good, although this is the only one with words if I recall correctly. As someone else already commented Johnny read the poem A Dream Within a Dream which is connected to NCT's lore and is also the name of one of Ten's solo Stations. This was also the track on this album that flipped the narrative from Regular (reality) to Irregularity (dreams). That's also why Regular Korean version was in the first half of the album and the English version was in the second half, because each song's lyrics tell two different stories. My Van is one of my favorite NCT songs ever because of how frank it all is. They've never laid it all out how plainly they feel about the lives they live. The repetitive instrumental paired with the lyrics convey the message of the constant never-ending cycle of their life, just always in the van because they're always working. People hate them and judge them, but people want to be them at the same time. It's a very depressing song honestly, but the structure is so trippy i love it. Come Back is another song that was done by another unit! WayV released Take Off on their debut mini in 2019 as well! Just obviously in chinese. 127 had also already did a japanese version of it on their Chain mini album. Fly Away With Me was sold to two different companies I believe, which is why they sound so similar. I think the original artists did actually accuse NCT of plagiarism when this album came out, before they found what happened. It all checked out, it was just miscommunication I think. The song is gorgeous though. Run Back 2 U is like a repackaging of the song NCT danced to as SM Rookies, Bassbot! It was an iconic dance performance of theirs.
