This is my favorite era of SHINee! Maybe I'm biased because 2013 is the year when I first discovered and fell in love with them lol but also because they were so busy!! They had 3 Korean comebacks and 1 (or 2?) Japanese releases, as well as other stuff like their reality show, and some solo activities so it was a great time to get into them you know? And well the music was also great. Symptoms is still one of my favorite SHINee songs <3

Ahhhhh my all time favorite song of theirs is on this album- One Minute Back. This era is so great, all of the styling for Everybody I really loved. I'm slightly biased for this year because not only is my favorite song this era but also this was when Onew bias wrecked me! And they won Artist of the Year this year, the video of them accepting the award still makes me so emotional. I was actually able to buy this album recently with an Onew photocard and legit almost cried when it arrived 😅

I have heard my fair share of fan chanting but not on the level of that Everybody performance. That was impressive. I love Symptoms. I used to wonder why that particular version had the most YT views (I was always quite partial to the MCountdown performance) but I totally get it now. Thank you for giving me a new found appreciation of Onew's hat - even if he does fling it off halfway through!

Yes the Everybody choreo is so epic! They're like wind up toy soldiers or robots. It took me a while to get used to fanchants in kpop but since the silent shows of covid era I miss them so much. Omg you have to watch the first teaser for everybody it's less than a minute long but it is the most incredible work of art (not mv scenes) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9cWeuyucsI Symptoms is such a great vocal showcase for them. Minho is seriously 90% leg. He's such an underrated dancer, his new single Heartbreak is going to have choreo apparently! Haha Jjong does love his hip thrusts. There is a leaked dance practise, interestingly SHINee don't have that many official dance practises but they have loads of leaked ones! Onew/Jinki (sorry it feels strange to call him Onew even though I'm usually against using real names if idols have a stage name but everyone calls him Jinki, even his youtube show is called Jinki Jangpan) has a habit of sneaking up on people, the one and only officially awarded best leader with the honey voice and the brightest smile. I might be a Lil Freak but I'm OT5 at heart, they're all so extremely different yet complement each other so well whether it's their voice, dance style, fashion, looks, talents or personality.
