Thank you for reacting to this. I wish there was a way for you to watch his performance of this on his Vlive concert because he did this same performance but on an inclined wall and it was amazing. Anyone who says Taemin is not a living piece of art has never seen perform.

thank you sm for the reaction ☺ his performance at 2020 MAMA is insane too, on a whole different level honestly about Sunmi - she and Taemin collabed on Move and Sunmi's song Gashina at this concert (it was iconic). I'm not sure if you noticed but the ropes eventually form a cage around him (i didn't at first). and yeah I don't remember in wich documentary i saw this but all this bondage and ropes stuff was his idea, this performance was created for his first solo concert. on his beyond live concert last may he performed this song on a tilted (45°) moving stage, in addition to being blindfolded and tied up 🧠 but my favorite version I think is from his Sirius concert in Japan, it's different, without ropes, the dance is more fluid and theatrical, and stage effects make it look like he is floating on the clouds and then falling from the sky.

Thanks for another great reaction. Taemin live is always amazing- love how artistic he is and how much emotion he pours into every performance. To see more about his involvement in his music, how he has developed himself since debut and how he is recognised in the industry I would definitely checking out “The growth of Lee Taemin” (in 3 parts) and “The artist Taemin” both by Walawala

Sunmi is my favourite female solo artist, she's a total queen who can't make a bad song! I hope you check her out in the future. I think her and Taemin are similar in that they have extremely distinct styles to them, Sunmi also uses a lot of synths and retro sounds in her music.

But yeah this performance is incredible, Taemin definitely has a thing for being tied up huh? It's a running theme. But I can't imagine how difficult it is to not get those ropes completely tangled and fall over, he likes to challenge himself, like how he had an angled stage for his concert, imagine dancing on an incline! I wish I had that drive, I just want life to be easy as possible 😅

He's so creative, and very involved with his choreographies. He was also personally involved in reworking the final melodies despite not being a composer or lyricist on this song. This is one that is worth watching every version of because he does it a little differently each time! Sunmi was in Wonder Girls, JYP's first girl group, she has some great solo releases too, they performed her most iconic one Gashina together at this show.
