Blue Bubble

Yaay I'm glad you liked this. Prepare yourself for what's to come XD this show is intense. Just to clarify, the scene at the end where Teh is talking to the examinators is just the continuation of the first scene of the show, it does not happen again. In 3 months there is the regular admission exam, what they already went through was a special early exam.

Just a few seconds in and I'm already gone. Sitting here with tears rolling down my cheeks. I have such a deep connection with this show that it takes literally nothing for them to set me off crying. I don't really have much to say, but I just wanted to highlight three things. 1. The relationship between Teh and his brother, Hoon, is one of the best I've ever seen. They portray it so simply and subtly, yet so effectively. It's beautiful. Their relationship with their mum, too. 2. Noble and Pupa, who played the younger versions of Teh and Ohaew, were phenomenal. There are behind the scenes episodes which show the making of the series (well worth reacting to btw). All four actors worked so hard together and it really paid off. I thought that the younger actors embodied the older actors so well that they were very believable in playing them as children. 3. The music in this series is the best I've ever heard in a BL. Just to reiterate that if you decide to watch the second series (I Promised You The Moon) please watch the short episode that bridges the two. It's called Last Twilight In Phuket - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrEiimmjszM

The 2nd series was lovely but heartbreaking to me in so many ways. It was the transition from childhood to adulthood with all the many harsh realities that come into life at that stage. Realizing that the world is complex and wide and emotions are vast and people are constantly changing while losing the innocence of youth is depicted wonderfully. A lot of people didn't love the 2nd series as much, but for me, the two together are almost necessary. It's wonderful to find people who love the series as much as I do <3
