Hi everyone!! I hope you're all doing well- I'm so happy with the reception of the newest video!! It's so cool to see lots of Animal Jam fans coming back to tell stories, and it's super cool to see people who never played find out about this crazy community for the first time! :D I'm gonna get straight onto the next video topic that I'll be covering...

THE PATH!!

I had the idea to cover this game a long time ago, but figured that it wouldn't do very well and people wouldn't really be interested. I mean, that's still definitely a possibility BUT after posting my videos about Luna Game and Max2019, both pretty obscure pieces of internet horror which I very much enjoy, I've been inspired to finally get back to this! The Path is a 2009 indie psychological horror game based on the fairytale of Little Red Riding Hood. It doesn't have an overt story, but has a lot of creepy metaphor and symbolism that you can piece together into a narrative which I'd love to dissect, as well as talking about the game's kind of revolutionary design, ARG-like content, and the controversial developers' triumphs (they were pioneers in the games-as-art scene) and failures (threw a nuclear tantrum on twitter and closed down their studio after one of their games flopped)

If you couldn't tell, I could talk about this game for dayz and since there's barely any coverage on it out there (fair enough considering it's over 10 years old) I figured I would give the ol' HBomberGuy approach a try and ramble about a game I really love. Hopefully it'll be enjoyable! Currently grinding out the script now, but I'm hoping to have it done in a few weeks (I can't believe it's nearly November?!) Anyway, thank you guys as always- I'm so lucky to have so many cool people supporting me and my silly content :)

Hope you all have a great week and stay safe! :)
