Hello guys! I hope you’re having a good Tuesday so far 🥰

Patreon reached out to me to let me try out a new feature: a Patreon shop! There, anyone in the public would be able to pay for and access any digital pdf - including crochet patterns - for the fee that the creator chooses! In our case, I would be able to put any and/or all of the Patreon exclusive patterns on Patreon shop for anyone to access for a higher price (around $10-12).

Now as my fellow pattern club members, I could see why you wouldn’t want me to add this feature to the Patreon. Patreon allowed me access to this new feature firsthand, but I don’t want to do it if you guys don’t want it! It’s that simple. I’m loyal to you guys first 🫡

So it’s up to you: keep the exclusive patterns exclusive to the club, or allow the public to be able to access the patterns for a significantly higher fee?

I think it’s a good idea espically since they are having to pay more because they are not part of your club, but (just something to think about) some ppl in the club might leave because it is no longer “exclusive” (not me I’m here for the longhaul).

I think it’s a good way to get others to have a taste of the club. If they like it they’re more likely to see they can save a bit more by just subscribing. Then there’s people like us who come and go but still want to support you when we can. If we miss a month or two then we can go back and grab the pattern and still support you. Personally as long as the patterns stay on Patreon or is behind a members only wall (secret shop) then it’s fine by us. It’s not Etsy, Ribblr, Ravlry or other platforms. We wouldn’t leave just because of that. If anything the temptation to horde patterns we missed and buy yarn has escalated immensely lol. Do you girl. Either way we’re gonna follow as long as our money is right lol
