What is your opinion about Weight Gain stages with/without story events (Patreon)

There is a bit of a dilemma I have in regards to new weight gain stages and story events.
This is a weight gain game, so I expect most people to want to see the characters grow bigger. But I have been holding on to higher stages for some characters because I want them to also have story to go along with the new stages.
Is story alongside new weight gain stages something that should always be there?
Do you not care about story and do you just want to see the characters grow?
