The use of voice lines in this one really sparked some ideas for me! However, I don't think most characters have such a distinctive voice that you can instantly recognize (I don't think anyone knows what Tamak* sounds like, haha. Most anime characters have a generic voice, in my opinion). It depends on the character; it's easier to do with Western cartoon characters.

As for those sketches, they came to me randomly when I wanted to try out some lighting from an overhead angle and test the "closed eye" facial style. I think I'm going to incorporate the "closed eye" trait into the granny character! She'll still open her eyes, but only in certain "serious" situations, haha.

I still struggle with drawing faces and expressing emotions in general.

My left arm, which I use for pressing hotkeys, is still in a cast, so I've been trying to use... my feet. Of course, I can't do anything fancy with them, but they work really well for hitting the spacebar, which I've bound to the Ctrl+Z function, lol. You can't imagine how incredibly helpful this is. I think artists hit Ctrl+Z like 90% of the time, haha.

So yeah, that's about it. I'm still working on coloring that bj animation. Stay tuned!
