Happy New Year everyone! Another exciting year full of work ends, and things seem to be getting back to normal albeit more expensive, so we can count it as a good year!

The current work we have released this year is as follows:
-14 Hamtaro revamped episodes.
-Hamtaro episode 83, the last japanese dub exclusive episode to be subbed.
-7 Hi! Hamtaro Indonesian Dub episodes thanks to our anonymous translator.
-The revamp of the third Hamtaro OVA.
-The whole season of Sugar Bunnies Chocolat.
-4 episodes of our new main show, Pururun! Shizuku-chan.
-Various small Sanrio shorts projects: Pankunchi and Cogimyun.
-1 Beatcats MV.
-4 episodes of the first season of Jewelpet, in collaboration with Stardust Fansubs.

This year has been a bit of a bump in the road from what we've been working on previously, but it has also been very erratic for the team members. Hence, the works have been a bit more sparse that we have hoped.

However, we have also taken this year as a way to look into our work and see where and how we can improve. We have decided that we want to do more work and focus strongly on releases for next year, but we also don't want to keep waiting for staff members that may have less time than it requires to keep steady releases, so we've been pushing some projects with less members and, because of that, the quality may have take a hit, so we apologize.

First, we want to discuss about our failures:

Due time constraints and other projects taking priority, the revamp project got stalled until the end of the year and cut off for the current year around the September batch. So the number of revamps for this year is going to be less than we aimed for. This includes the usual revamp of a movie during the year, we just didn't have the time to work on it.

Sugar Bunnies v2 is still on Quality Check, we have noticed a few mistakes here and there so we'll be working on them sometime next year, but this part of the project is being undertaken from someone that has a very busy life so it's taking way more than we hoped for.

Speaking of Sugar Bunnies, since we picked up other series, we didn't end up working on Fleur. There's another reason, but we will discuss the reason for the delay further when we do release the first episode (which is already translated and encoded! Just missing timing!).

We didn't work on the new Jewelpet Movie even though we do have a very awesome quality raw thanks to the Bluray, there's no excuse for this other than the movie was a bit dissapointing and it was not as exciting to work on it as we hoped it would be.

And of course, we missed our chance to work on the remaining Hamtaro "specials" and other long-term and hard to quantify goals that we usually put in these reports.

Now, let's discuss our achievements:

We finished the last Hamtaro episode! Lots of people have been telling us to work on it, and we've been delaying it for too long, so getting it done is a truly remarkable milestone.

André working on a few short Sanrio projects teached him how to properly time and some other techniques that have been of great help in other projects.

We've continued our collaboration with Stardust on Jewelpet, but we have also being working with someone else that's been making releases of the series on youtube. With our translations and his timing, the project is looking better than ever and there might be good advances next year!

We have started working on Pururun! Shizuku-chan! We're very excited for this project, it's a very funny and cute show and the community is reacting to it quite well, so we're excited to do more. The original objective while in the planning stage was to work on 3 episodes a month, but since this is basically a one-man project for André, he decided to limit himself to a more leisurable two episodes a month. However, this might change starting next year and releases will be made on an "as finished" basis, which implies that there would be months with a big amount of releases and other months with none.

Finally, let's review the objectives for next year:
-Continue working on Pururun! Shizuku-chan, with no set releases plan.
-Sub the remaining season of Sugar Bunnies: Fleur.
-Sub the japanese version of Hamtaro Hi! episodes.
-Sub the Hiragana and Shape and Numbers Hamtaro specials as well as the train specials.
-Sub the original Jewelpet season, following up the collaboration with Stardust Fansubs.
-Sub the new Jewelpet Movie, "Attack Travel".
-Revamp 6 previously translated Hamtaro episodes, sparcely around the year.
-Revamp the two remaining Hamtaro movies and the fourth OVA.
-Study the possibility of subbing other series related to the “kodomo” group,  candidates being: Mirmo Zibang, Maple Town, Tamagotchi, Calimero and  Valeriano, Master Hamsters, Kyoro, Ringo no Mori and other Sanrio OVAs.
-If a new Hamtaro series shows up, translate it in the shortest time possible as a full-fledged sub team would do.
-Try to create a “stream event” where we subtitle live.
-Promote Patreon and Ko-Fi more to increase our patrons.
-Create a specific website, outside of Ham-Ham Paradise, for Paradise Hamsubs.

2023 is going to be big. We have huge motivation and are quite excited to work on a lot of stuff! Now that we have decided that André can work independent, the release plan should be way more consistent.

Working on Shizuku-chan is going to take a big chunk of the year's workforce, but we also want to finish Sugar Bunnies Fleur (the plan is to stick to a monthly release, but there should be two releases in January to make up for the delay) and cross other projects from the list.

There's 18 Hamtaro Hi! episodes already translated, so expect releases on that regard next year too. The revamps have been reduced to just 6 for the whole year because it's a project that, albeit a lot of episodes definitely need a revamp, is time-consuming for the little benefit we get from it, and it's not one of those projects André can handle by himself so to ease the workload on the other team members we just decided to reduce the number.

Revamping the two remaining movies and the fourth OVA is a different story, that's going to be a very hard to pull out project, but we will work hard to see it happen!

We added a few more animes to the list of candidates for subbing, we are actually on talk with Stardust to help them with a few extra projects as Translation Check and we ourselves want to work on some projects once Sugar Bunnies is finished.

Big plans! Quite excited! I hope you guys are too. And thank you so much for your continuous support, it means the world to us.

Once again we wish you a Happy New Year and we hope this year is good to you!
