Pride Month: Free Refs (Patreon)

Hi all, I’m still chugging along at the Maternity art (sadly didn’t get it done in May) but I hope to finish it this week. Meanwhile, a few updates.

Pride Month Refs

I’m going to be upholding my tradition of doing free single-image reference art to any furs in need. This is something I’ve tried to do for a few years now every pride month and want to stick to it. Having that first image of your character can be a gateway to getting more, and if its someone like myself, if having body affirming art can help with dysmorphia then I try to do what I can.

I’m going to make a more formal announcement about this in the coming days, including the google doc’s form where people will be able to submit for stuff. I’ll answer on a case by case basis, but typically the rules are:

1) you don’t already have art, this isn’t just a giveaway.

2) Absolutely not a requirement, but I’d like to help trans and nonbinary people most. I’m not going to pry about it tho.

While I don’t encourage this any other time due to provide you all your patron benefits, once the form is available I encourage you to share with whomever in order to get the most reach and provide the most help.

Updating TOS

Second small update, which semi-partains to the above, but I’m going to be updating my terms of service to include “when applying for commissions on a form, please don’t say its too complicated to explain, I’ll DM you,” currently the existence of the form is supposed to be a single place for me to get all the details you want about the commission. If you want something that’s artists input or just a general vibe or idea, that’s fine, but I started this form because I’d have issues in the past where over the life of a commission the idea would change too much, or would become so spread out over multiple messages that I’d end up spending more time digging thru a month of DM’s than actually drawing the art. I’m sorry but if you can’t explain it in text in a google doc then you can’t explain it any better in messages.

Relating to above, these changes are going to be implemented before the launch of the Pride Month art. There will be a link in the form and updated TOS from now on including this dialogue.
