Hi Trigger! The production of anime fascinates me. What is the pipeline in the production of an anime series? What do you consider first when starting out with the ideas, Story? Character? Settings? Thank you very much!

I live in Tokyo and want to get a production assistant job when my Japanese is good enough. I want to start as a production assistant but want to work my way up to an episode director, how would I go about that, and would they want a portfolio of econte if I want to be an enshitsu later?

How involved is trigger in the dubbing process of their shows? I've heard of directors that sometimes get involved in dubs, but that's more of an exception. I ask because KLK had an amazing dub, Luluco's was pretty dope too, while LWA's sucks. Are those things left to whoever distributes it on the west? Can't you Tattun maybe check the dubs and if they suck tell them so that they change them?

Mago-san, I noticed you're only credited as the character designer and with ending illustrations on "Space Patrol Luluco" in Anime News Network's (ANN) encyclopedia, yet on your Twitter profile introduction you list "Kill La Kill," so I was wondering how you were involved with "Kill La Kill"? The reason I ask is because I personally submitted the staff and company credits to the ANN encyclopedia page for "Kill La Kill" and your name (まご) is not credited in any episode, at least according to the corresponding page on the アニメスタッフデータベース. Sorry for such the long message! 宜しくね！

This question is actually for the translator. On the second drawing stream's questionnaire, one of my questions had a lot of hearts, but I couldn't watch the stream, and the VODs that have been uploaded for that stream are silent. Will those ever be uploaded with sound, or are the questions lost to time? I would have really liked to hear Wakabayashi-sensei's answer but would feel obnoxious if I asked it repeatedly, especially if it was answered last time I asked.

Mago-san-- how do you manage to convey a character's personality through their design? Is there always a clear idea of what a character's personality will be before designing them, or does the design come first? Love your work!

ah, darn....livestream on a workday. :C Guess I'll have to catch up with the reuploads. What does Trigger think of Toei Animation, a big animation company, delivering subpar animation quality like One Piece? why does company like Ufotable deliver top notch quality animated visuals but aren't as big as Toei?

Do anime studios get any royalties from Blu-ray/DVD sales of the shows they made? Or do all the sales only go to the production companies like Aniplex? Question for Mago-san: what is your thought process when designing merchandise like character charms or line stickers? Are there any characters you had difficulty designing in your style?

I just want to know if Akane and Rikka from Gridman ever have chance of seeing each other again. How they were forced to be apart is so sad. It's not like Akane couldn't see her again after she learns to grow up and stand on her own.
