yes I agree with you, the story of season 3 is better than in season 1 and 2, but as you said, escanor vs meliodas was disappointing, so now think about all the best fights in the manga being like this, some even worse, for the fans who read the manga and have waited years anxiously to see the animated fights and receive something disappointing is really sad

episode 17 had extraordinary panels of meliodas assault mode, which is way better in the manga, if you can compare meliodas assault mode in the manga with the one in the anime, for you to see how the assault mode really is, it would be cool

I think people disagree based on details. Like look at ‘increase’ whereas it used to be detailed blades s1-2; now it’s just ray’s of light.

Yes the animation is bad sometimes but i agree, the story is so good im still invested and can look past it.
