Since it's the end of the month I thought I would do a little a progress update on the Nobles & Knights update for those who don't have discord!
Knights are almost complete, I just have to add more command interactions!
- Knights can stand guard, during this time they are immune to temperature and their motive decay is halved so you wont have any guards dying or freezing mid-guard lol
- You can enable/disable the tough walkstyle for them
- Knights can be made into personal guards for your royalty and nobles, this will give you the interaction of having them follow that specific sim.
- Interactions such as removing from lot and intimidating people (more interactions currently being worked on)
- Knights who work hard on their Swordsmanship skill will be able to take a child or teen on as their Squire and mentor them.
Ladies-in-Waiting have been my main focus this week, still need a lot of work but i'm happy with how they're turning out. I am currently adding interactions to have them take care of the smaller things your royals and nobles are too fancy to do themselves ;)
- They will also be able to follow you royals and nobles through an interaction.
- I am currently working on a bunch of interactions to command them to do things for your royal/noble sim
- They will be able to send their master/mistresses correspondences (more info on those below)
- They gain reputation from being a Lady-in-Waiting
Other progress
- Your sims can now sit down and write correspondences. They will then be able to give their letters to their ladies-in-waiting who can then post them to a sim of your choosing. (Lady-in-Waiting must be an active sim to complete this)
- Swordsmanship skill and sword fighting are almost complete, the skill is a level 5 skill and has various unlocks along the way.
- New Sword fighting interaction
Other plans for this update
- Fun rabbitholes for nobles
- I might also be adding a servant rehaul in this update... will see about that and how much time I have :)
- Royals and Nobles less likely to clean up after themselves, so your servants will have more work to do!
