Hey Taskmaster peeps, I just realised I have access to the latest episodes of "8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown"

When I decide on content, topical current stuff always performs better on the channel.

Are there many reactors out there doing new episodes? Are the new episodes good? Will I know whats going on (like is it UK centric topics)? Can I just pick up from the next episode? How long are the seasons?

Let me know in the comments any information about this show that might influence my decision to add it to the schedule (or at least try a few episodes and see what the results are like)

You should be able to just pick it up, and some episodes are just... *chefs kiss*

I think almost everyone watched it because of Sean Lock. But it does work with the Special Guests Team Captain's (they didn't another main team captain. It's like.. it's still Sean's place.) There are very good episodes. Joe Wilkinson is amazing as Rachel assistant in the first's series as later on a guest, he's very desperate to get something, he has a lot of lore with "his half-brother Fabio". Some of the "context" you might need is: Rachel is shit at dancing (she went on Strictly come dancing and... Jimmy did not let that slip), Jimmy's tax scandal, obviously; Susie is super nice and an amazing woman so as a joke they say she's.. well, she smokes weed and looks through glory holes (IM NOT MAKING THESE THINGS UP MYSELF). Roisin is shit at the game. They still haven't forgotten that she got the word "news" but there was no "w". LEE MACK IS *WOW* JUST. *WOOOOW*. Every comic you'll see in Taskmaster and throughout British Comedy is going to be there. It's amazing. Greg Davies, Alex Horne won the ACTUAL GAME OF COUNTDOWN, THE REAL ONE. But 8OO10DC is... Comedy, Improv, Sketches, Maths, Scrabble, Anagrams, Insults, Comebacks, Facts, Wit... And on and on and on

I can not recommend it enough. The most chaotic and amazing episode to summarize it all would be https://youtu.be/IT1xX5H9YwQ?si=UCCvfNFaHuTmEnld also, Jon has a bit of OCD. There are around.. 6 episodes per season but it doesn't follow a time line per se. You can also play along! I've watched some people react to it and get the maths or longer words than the players and it's really cool

Do you think the compilation videos would be a good way to check it out, or a full episode?
