Super Important News: Wolf Quest (Patreon)

So yeah, you must be wondering why I did not upload a Wolf Quest page this week. Well, the thing is…I am having a little bit of a dilemma with the comic.

As many of you must know already, I can’t use the old designs of my characters anymore, and that of course has made me do new ones to replace them. I have managed to redesign the comics “Conall’s Vorem,” “Mass Adventure,” and “Hunting with Mom” with the new designs after a lot of extra work. It took me a lot of time, but I got them done before the end of the month so I could send those comics to the new patrons. They were short and only had Conall or Conall with Todd, so that made the redesiging easier (other characters are designed by me, so that wasn't changed). Wolf Quest, though, is a complete different matter: the comic is just too big and has far too many pages and characters to redesign, and it would take me months to do so, meaning extra work hours of dedication. So this leaves me with two options of how this can go: either I continue to comic were it is, or I start over (as a reboot of some sort). Both have pros and cons.

If I continue where it is, then the comic would be only for patrons that have been around long to understand the story so far, but anyone new that would join would not be able to see the old pages, and therefore they won’t understand the story were it is. I also can’t keep the old pages in my public galleries anymore, so they would have to read the story from the point I brought the new designs in. Continuing, though, means that the story is kept as it is told so far, and it would be undarstable to continue since you've been following the story for so long and want to know what's next.

Now, if I start it over, from scratch, I promise to make the comic far more interesting, since this would allow me to make a better story with all the experience I've gathered through the process of creation. I mean, the main story would remain the same, but it would have a lot of changes and tweaks that would make it even better (character development, better narrative, better panneling and richer dialogue), plus I wanted to add more vore scenes and I’m sure people would like that. This starting over option also allows for everyone new that joins to be able to follow the story and I can publish it without any problem, since every design and character will be mine. The obvious con is that it is starting from the beginning, and many things are already known plot-wise. And if you were interested in what would come next, then you'll have to wait until we reach that part again (which could take months). Then again, let me clarify I won't be "redesiging" the old pages. I'll be completely remaking the comic from scratch: new angles, new panels, even different pacing, so who knows? Maybe you'll love it ^^!

But also, since I created this Patreon with the purpose to please the people that support me I will leave it to you guys to make the choice on how should this go. I have made a votepoll where you can vote and choose what option you would like and the most voted one will be done.
