1. Rough sketch

2. Refined sketch

3. Linework (usually on "shade" or "multiply" mode)

4. Separate the characters underneath the line layer (usually each character has its own layer)

5. Start flatting in each separate character with their respective markings 

6. Start adding in shadows (i used a light purplish beige on multiply)

7. General atmosphere (i combined all the flats, copied that layer and filled it with a warm light tone on multiply to show that they are backlit)

8. Lighting and final details (usually use luminosity in dark warm tones for lighting and directly paint final details and shine on a normal layer above it)
