UFU 30: Update (Patreon)

Hi there.  I got a comment today from patron, John Harrison, who asked: "Where is Mike?" and I figure if one person is saying it, others likely wonder it privately, so I'm here to confirm that I'm alive and well and to update you on UFU 30.

It's nearly ready. I recorded the text into three separate blocks of audio: the first, one hour in length; the second, twenty minutes; and the third is also an hour long. I've now edited the first two down to a finished track of 35 minutes, but I still have to edit the last hour-long block, which I'll be doing tomorrow.

There will be re-takes, no doubt, but I'm hoping to get it finished by tomorrow evening. Then I need to write and record the bumpers, add the music, and it'll be ready.

Now, I could have split the chapter and released a half-episode in advance, but people always say: "Thanks, but I'll wait for the whole thing." And because my making a half-episode would slow down production of the whole episode, I'm going to forego that option and just crack on with the full episode. I think that's best.

Expect to hear from me very soon.
