MAXIMS

Just-in-case friends aren’t friends at all.

A mistake ceases to be a mistake when it becomes a lesson.

Minimalism is a concise way of saying “living-within-your-means-ism.”

Letting go is the ultimate form of prepping.

Opting-out is an active choice, not a one-time decision.

The why-to is infinitely more powerful than the how-to.

Support bound by expectations isn’t supportive.

The best testimony is a well-lived life.

Oh wow, I love the advice on deleting the social media apps and using kindle! I have been struggling with that and something I want to be more mindful of. I just ordered some Dave Ramsey and Rachel Cruze books so I’m excited to get those in! One thing I’ve started doing is when I run errands with my husband (ex: him getting a haircut) I will bring a book and not get on my phone and I have been enjoying that!

It always bobbled my mind how fb could be as successful as it still (!) is. The site itself looks so unappealing to me, so cluttered with settings, boring design. But to each their own. I was always into twitter to keep up in sports teams and the news, but the algos and the shaddow banning are horrible today.
