I used to work in the mall years ago, I remember walking by this store that just sold leggings. All different prints, colors, cuts, etc. the mannequins they used had these nice toned legs and Kim K booty, and thankfully since listening to you guys I quickly realized: do I want the leggings or do I want my booty to look like that if I wear these leggings? 🤣 just like the legging trend where it’s scrunched in the middle back seam to give the illusion of fuller cheeks (maybe?) anyway I did buy one off Amazon a long time ago because I fell for the trap and it does not look the same on everyone! Literally looked like a had a terrible wedgie 😭 if I could have that $30 back and spend it on gas or food I would, but I wouldn’t have known what I looked like in these leggings I saw everywhere unless I tried them. And it was a fail. You’re absolutely correct the lessons learned helped me let go of that regret. Thank you for sharing that moment where you felt so helpless and swallowed by debt you felt like ending it all. I remember (back in the day before minimalism) I had my credit card maxed out, constantly ($4,000) I was only making $11/hr at the time as a sales associate and I couldn’t pay it down. I only had enough for the minimum payment which was about $70 then I’d get hit with the interest of $70! It was never ending cycle. Extremely toxic way of living. Some things we must learn by our own experience but it’s also so nice to learn from your experiences as well. I always enjoy listening, thank you

People can always take a short clip of a sentence that takes your point totally out of context. This is the way TV works and this is the way social media works. People will always see what they want to see. They will see you in the way they want you to see. It is up to them, and it’s okay. It says so much about themselves. Thanks so much for all the insights!
