When I began decluttering, I focused on my own stuff, but asked my family if they would go through their stuff too. My husband agreed but was adamant he would not want to get rid of anything. I said I didn't mind if that was the case, it would make me feel better to know that he was keeping all the things with intention. However once he got going he found all-sorts of things he could let go of and two or three bags of clothes from his wardrobe and drawers ended up donated. Small wins 😃
