So that point that Eren kisses Hiistoria's hand, he sees the slaughter and he sees Grisha telling Zeke to stop him. Eren shows Grisha parts of the future to manipulate him to kill the royal family... He saw all of this when he kissed her hand in S3. Never told anyone. No wonder he was all depressed.
