I really like how much power she’s exerting here; how she wants to mark him, how she’s ‘besting the beast.’ It makes me see it as a series of arc shots, set to The Hunter by Alpine Universe. And I always like a note of contrast/multifacetedness; the savagery of his teeth but the readiness of poetry to come through them. I still wouldn’t say I like historicals, but I do like this.
