I really like “I rule here and you are free to do whatever you like.” The rules/domain idea is clearly established, but these rules won’t be like the ones on the outside. Speaking of having access to drafts: one of my favorites is something I first saw on IG, then it expanded into a twitter audio, then it grew further when you read it on a live. Watching this evolution is wild, and also an incredible privilege. Speaking of a million drafts, I’m really hoping the next part of Part of Your World is among them. I know you’re doing a bajillion things, but there’s some really good set up in there. Aftercare as 'more than just cleanup,’ I had a conversation about this the other day (spoiler: we’re both jocks). For all the jokes about ‘cuddles and cookies,’ focusing on getting their muscles warm and blood sugar up, is a good place to start. And that focus, that attention, that knowledge and specificity of what they need, solidifies and strengthens everything. It’s also why so many athletes fall for their trainers and coaches. The strap on story is dead-on.
