Popsicles have never really been my favorite frozen treat...until now. 🍡

-Always love having one character blame/credit the other for a situation (“what you caused”). It loops very nicely with the idea closer to the end—that they deserve each other. They’re both active participants, even though there’s only one voice. -The planing made me laugh. It was called planning from the start, then the convenient death of the batteries, then the admittance of the full plan. That’s a specific smirk there, in a piece that has a wonderful variety of such things. -The ending is a tonal shift, but not a fade-to-blank. The question of anyone coming over in the morning makes it feel more conversational. It’s a down shift, but not an immediate silence. That feels so much better, and fits the overall framing of the story better. I really enjoyed this one, in its entirety.
