Love the commentary and absolutely agree about the written/spoken word being powerful and eliciting emotions. With excellent story telling by the writer, you are transporting the reader right where you want them to be which is pretty powerful. Most of us who crawled Into books as kids, have very active imaginations so that is incredibly easy to do, but that makes us very discerning readers so to captivate us you need to be damn good at what you do. Based on your following, looks like you’re doing… okay at this storytelling thing 😉 in all seriousness, I’m enjoying your patreon and am glad I found this community.
