Ok about the super soldier serum. Size in this case does NOT matter. He doesn't need to be as big as the Hulk, but he isn't invincible like you say in this reaction. Bullets and knives still can hurt and kill him. He's still very human, but the serum has put him at the peak of human capability. So he's just enhanced in all areas. He's stronger, faster, and has more stamina than any other ordinary person on the planet. And his shield isnt magic. So no special bullet can break it. It's made of Vibranium, the strongest metal on the planet. So unless they come across something stronger, no, nothing can break that shield.

As Howard Stark said in "Captain America: The First Avenger," the shield is made of Vibranium, which is completely vibration neutral. Meaning that it nullifies the force of any projectile that hits it. It seems that smaller items, like bullets, hit it and just fall down. Larger and more impactful items may redirect that energy and force the item to bounce off and away from it.

One of the things that sticks in my mind that the Russo Brothers (the directors) said was that scene with Steve going to visit Peggy wasn't the first time he'd gone to see her. That he goes to see her every day that he's in town and she always forgets, but he keeps going back to see her, even if it does hurt him. It makes her feel better for a while. Can't think of that without tearing up.

In the meeting Sam was having with the soldiers that had PTSD, the one said she swerved to avoid a plastic bag 'cause she thought it was an IED. That stands for "improvised explosive device." Also, RPG stands for "rocket propelled grenade." Kinda the successor weapon to the bazooka.

Heh, Fury always has a bulletproof vest on, but those were extremely high caliber armor piercing rounds. I mean, they came through the wall and still went through him. They knew who they were trying to kill. They wanted to make sure they got him.

The movie Natasha referenced when she said, "Shall we play a game?" was "War Games" from the 80s starring Matthew Broderick and yes, you should watch it. ;-) You will crack up at how old the tech is in it, but I saw it at the time and it's accurate for1983.
