Just started watching (I know, here we go) and you were saying that Volstagg mocking Loki was how sociopaths or whatever get made, but ya gotta remember, Loki is a trickster and he's been pranking them since they were all children and that's part of Volstagg's jab at him. Just sayin' that he's not an innocent that they're all picking on, but it's understandable to think that at the beginning of this since we hadn't seen him do any...trickster-ing (definitely a word ;-)) at this point.

You asked what Loki was doing when he opened the Bifrost to Jotunheim; Heimdall told them at the beginning that he couldn't just leave the Bifrost open so they could just come and go because if he leaves it open, the power of the Bifrost would destroy all of Jotunheim. That's what Loki was trying to do. Also, Frigga loves her sons but she also knows her sons and she knows that Loki is more likely to be lying than Thor, when you asked who their mother would believe. She knows Loki's a trickster, but it doesn't make her love him less.

You ask, "Wouldn't the hammer just crush him?" when Thor put it on Loki. Short answer is no, because Mjolnir weighs as much as a war hammer, but it cannot be lifted because of an enchantment, not because it's physically heavy. It's just not be able to be moved.

In case you didn't know, the next one is "Captain America: The First Avenger." After that then there's "The Avengers.".

Considering that Jotunheim is a place here in Norway, I'm glad Loki wasn't successful at destroying it 🤪 I've never seen any frost giants there, though.
