Hello! This mod allows sims to half-kneel, prop one leg up and Wide Sit on the ground. Also makes the existing kneeling position to be easily accessible.

These sit-on-ground positions are universal postures like the default stand. Sims can chat, watch tv, roast marshmallows, eat, read books etc in these positions.

If sims are idling, they will default to this look:

Prop One Leg Up

Half-Kneel

Wide Sit on Ground

Non-idle example: Wide Sit on Ground

How to Sit on Ground

Select Your sim > 'Sit on Ground' > the position you want.

Ask another Sim to Sit on Ground

Select Target sim > 'Friendly' > Ask to Sit on Ground > the position you want.

**Your sim must already be seated on the ground for this pie menu to show up. 

Important Notes

1. Sims will sit for 120-minutes before getting up autonomously unless interrupted.

2. Sims in skirts and dresses will only kneel and cannot sit in any other position. Hence if a custom clothing is not tagged properly, sims can only kneel while wearing it.

Installation:

• This mod requires Scumbumbo's XML injector.
• Put the injector, the package and script file below into your mods folder and done!

*Script files must not be put more than one subfolder deep.

Conflict

This mod modifies the tuning resource: 283325 -super_SitOnGround_CrossLegged.

Disclaimer:

There are 9-10 custom animations for each position, which are blended by the game with existing animations like 'eat a harvestable'. All of them turned out great except for one transition animation (while sims are holding a book). 😭 I'm still figuring out how blending works so w.i.p. -- I'll keep experimenting.

1. All custom Social Mixer Interaction will work in these postures unless explicitly denied.
