*The New Year Mod is finally READY! I am so excited to share this. May it enrich your gameplay and stories.

**This mod is a collaboration with Roundog and our New Year gift to you. Best and warm wishes to all.

Features:

1. Sim Sessions event is now a recurring festival every Sunday.

2. Music festival stage is buyable and usable.

3. Hire NPCs to perform private concerts.

4. Adds custom interactions to microphone.

5. Has crowd reaction, custom buffs, increases singing skills and fame.

1. Music Festival event returns

 This is the same as the original Sim Sessions. Your sims will:

• Get a notification about the music festival being in town.
• Be invited by friends to visit the festival.
• Kids can visit the festival and listen and cheer like the rest of the crowd.

2. Perform on the Music Festival Stage

• Type 'MF Music Festival Stage' or find under Party/Outdoor Activities.
• Rent the stage and have sims perform via piano, mic stand or guitar.
• Added a Stage Effect toggle button to pair performances with vfx. Strategic photo-taking required. (see below)

3. Custom Interactions

• 5 new interactions
• Increases singing skill and fame.
• Has custom music which is recognised under Electronica music genre.
• Has skill requirement. Interactions unlock at singing skill:-

Level 1

• Blooming
• Deep Blue Song 
• Deep Blue Town

Level 7

• Sea Breeze

Level 9

• Marine Mirage (This is a two-in-one song)

*Original music not included, interactions are paired with free-license music.*

4. Hold Concerts Anywhere

Sims can hold concerts anywhere so long as they have a mic stand. Crowd reaction works on three levels: normal terrain, music festival stage and different height platforms.

For platforms, you'll need to restrict access so sims don't intrusively stand next to your sim. You can:

- Use LittleMissSam's Unlock/Lock doors mod,
- Replace doors with exclusive club door from Get Together; or 
- Delete the stairs.

4. Hire NPCs to perform

Select 'Hire Staff> Performer' to summon an NPC to sing at your private parties and birthdays. Performers will perform one song only (Blooming) so if you want them to sing other songs, request them to do so. 

Extra:

- Select 'Invite to Watch Performance' on non-watching sims to make your crowds larger.

- Sims who dislike Electronica will not watch the performance, but will clap at the end.

- Sims with relationship bit Disliked, Despised, Nemesis and Archenemy will not cheer nor courtesy clap for your sims even if you asked them.

Known Issue

- Music will not play if another global music effect is played at the same time. i.e. First Kiss music, Spice Festival music, Level up music). Reset sim with debug cheat and reselect the interaction.

- Vampires might have so much fun that they neglect the weather and burn to a crisp.

Conflict

No known conflicts, but will conflict with mods that modify the debug object 'Music Festival Stage'.

Installation

• This mod requires Scumbumbo's XML injector.
• put the below package file into your mods folder.
