Private Group Dance Mod (For paid dances) (Patreon)

Please read if you are interested in converting your paid dances into interactions.

Private Group Dance Mod is the same as the community version, but is specific to the animations that you have. 

You can request for not-free dance animations to be supported, but will require some effort on your part. Basically, I need a screenshot from you.

If you're not interested to know why the screenshot is crucial, skip the next section.

How this mod works

To make animations readable by the game, I need to open up the animation file, find their unique details and ids, then write the code so the game recognises them as interactions. Since I have no access to the package file, you'll need to take a screenshot of these details. 

How to get that screenshot

Install Sims4Studio. If this is your first attempt at opening package files, your computer may ask what program you wish to use. Select 'Sims4Studio.exe'.

Steps:

1. Double-click your dance animation package. I'll use CD97's Thriller as an example. 

2. On the right, you will see how many animation clips that file has. In this example, I only want the third animation to be part of GDM. Click the warehouse tab once you've mentally made your selection.

3. Scroll down the left-side column until the end where you'll see 'clip' and 'clip headers'. We want the third animation, so click on the third clip.

-The clip you've selected will be highlighted blue and its contents displayed on the right. 

4. Maximise the window and take a screenshot of the Actor Name and all the details in Clip. Done! 

5. Repeat Steps 1 to 4 for each animation clip that you want in your GD-mod. Compile them all in one email and send them to me.

Notes:

• Click cancel or the little 'x' at the top once you're done. Do not change anything in here. Modifications at this level may break the package and is not allowed by most creators anyway.
• You can make monthly requests.
• I am just one person and each clip takes time to write up so please understand that I must cap this service.

If you are an Angel Investor, you can ask for a private dance pack of 10 clips or 5 clips / month.

If you are on Silver tier, you can ask for a private dance pack of 5 clips or 2 clips / month.

If you are on Tip Jar tier, you can send me suggestions for a public community pack every month.
