Update!!! (Patreon)

Ok!  So here’s an update on how things have been going lately ^^

I returned from BLFC some days ago, and I gotta say being there was amazing ^^ I ate lots of nice things, met some awesome people and discovered just how terrible I am at bowling XD (for the most part at least, I did have one good game!). Also, we did art jams every single day and it was amazinggggg ^^ I was glad to work mostly with traditional art this time, I really missed that!

But well, among other things, this trip also served as a wake up call for me. I had been burning myself out with work more and more, and missing out on the stuff I really loved. What i mean is that I spent too much time working (and not always enjoying it) and too little time actually interacting with others… and in the case of this Patreon and my furry art in general, the thing I’ve always enjoyed the most is actually getting to interact with you all ^^ and I feel like I’ve been distancing myself more and more… and that needs to change.

As such I started changing the way I do things already, and I’ve been feeling much happier and motivated! I still need to make more changes though, and amongst those I will make some modifications to the way this Patreon works (animation + mini comic in the same month was too much to handleee). But I’ll update you guys on that later on, for now, this month will continue as usual ^^ 

Sadly my modem died as soon as I got back home XD so I wasn’t able to start streaming or uploading things as I’d have liked to do (right now I need to go to my parent’s house if I need to do anything internet-intensive XD), but after that you should be seeing more activity from me in general ^^ 

Also, a project I was working on was sort of cancelled, so we’re now allowed to post the arts we did for it. They are a bit old (more than a year old I think?) but I hope you guys still enjoy them! I’ll be posting those up as soon as I get my internet back! (or on one of my visits to my parent’s house XD).

Welcome back from BLFC! It's really nice to hear you had such a great time there, and oh boy, art jams every day sound freaking awesome. So that means you have more traditional stuff to show us? As for the interaction with your community, even with the system from before, you already are way more sociable than many artists out there. Things can alwways be done better, but at the end of the day, we are only human, and time comes in short supply. I personally feel you already did a good job on the social side. You repsond to comments, you host art streams, and you pop in on discord quite often as well. If you think you want more, however, thengo for it! I'm just saying that you shouldn't feel like you have been completely neglecting the community, because that is certainly something that you haven't done. Besides, the reaason most of us are here is because we love your work, so working on the stuff that we, ultimately, appreciate enough to support you on patreon isn't a bad thing in my book ^^

Also, forgot to mention, but it's quite fascinating, that your traditional art resembles your digital one so much. For some odd reason, I expected them to look a bit more different hahaha

Thanks a lot Gabe, it's great to be back! And I'll keep doing my best to get better at all this x3 as to the art, it's funny yeah xD I guess art style just translates both ways between traditional and digital x3
