Hard Month (Patreon)

So, life does sometimes tend to happen and this has certainly been one of those times. A lot of things just occured in a row one after the other. First we had some family outing that were somewhat unexpected though at least this was more of a positive thing and fun. Site got hacked and that in and of itself took a lot of time to get things back to a reasonable state. Still have some time lapse videos to put back up. I also then had a toothache for about 4 - 5 days, hard time getting any sleep.

But the worst thing to occur is that one of our cats (Tigger) isn't doing too well. He is around 16 years old, so he is pretty old. He isn't eating properly anymore, Isn't walking around much, just laying in his little spot. He has been to the vet, tests taken. He seems to have pancreatitis, so he required a diet change.

I have to say seeing him like this sucks and it makes me cry just thinking about it as I am afraid he might die soon. I really hope he gets better, it's really stressful. But at the same time this has reminded me of how old our cats are now. They are brother and sister (Blackey), so same age. This is something I am going to have to prepare for. Given life spans of cats, we got maybe at most 3 - 4 years if lucky. Could be much sooner.

Honestly, it really threw me off because of how active they have been. Even Blackey now is spry as ever. So they didn't seem that old, but when you actually count the years... it's crazy.

Anyway, I felt I needed to talk about this for myself and also just to let all of you know what has been going on and why things have slowed down. I do have a drawing releasing this week though, so hope you are looking forward to that. Things should pick back up next month and be back to normal for the most part. Sorry about the delay that has occured.
