Twitter Winner: Blazar (Patreon)

I decided to post this now even though it's the weekend. I planned to upload it yesterday but was just first checking in with Blazar to make sure all looked good. So I will just count this as a Friday upload lol.

This was a pretty interesting drawing to work on for me because it's so outside of the type of characters I draw. For one, I have never done a dragon or reptile like species before. The pose he asked for was one that already had his own character in it, just with some alterations. This helped a lot as a reference and made my work so much easier.

However, I noticed there were some differences between it and the character sheet he gave me, so I decided to follow the design on the character sheet more so than from the pose. Which also helped a lot, because I was worried that I might be copying too much from the pose reference. I feel despite the worries, it turned out pretty good. A lot better than what I expected I would be able to do. I know maybe about a year ago there would have been no way I could have done this.
