I held off on posting this since the commissioner isn't perfectly happy with it and so I am not entirely sure how much will change. I do know the expression will change as well as the view. They want the character much closer.

I think this commission is a good example of how tough commissions can be at times when there is miscommuncation. It's often why I try and ask so many questions. In this case though, the commissioner emphasized they like to give the artist artistic freedom, and I guess I took that too literally, because they had something speciifc in mind that they didn't really make very clear.

It's all good though. These things happen and it's all a part of the process. It can feel demotivating at times though as you try and not feel like you failed as an artist.
