I went back to my home in Taiwan after many events and trips back to Japan during July and August. I am relieved that I managed to stay infection-free.

Now that things have settled down, I have my assistant working on my manuscript for the first time in a while.

Please allow me to write a little about my impressions of the event, which I was not able to write much about due to the busy schedule.

▶︎FF39 in Taiwan

This was the first time for me to attend an event outside of Japan! Before COVID-19, there were many participants from Japan, and I had been interested in this event for a long time, but I was not sure if I would be able to communicate overseas... especially in the printing area.

As a result of a series of coincidences, I ended up living in Taiwan for half of the event, and I was happy to be able to participate.

The first thing that surprised me at the event was that there were so many people who could speak Japanese!

I thought it was amazing that the Taiwanese people I talked to in the online games were so fluent in Japanese that I didn't even notice unless they told me, but when I actually met some of them, I realized how great they were.

I can only say simple words in Chinese such as "没問題". I am "有問題". I want to learn little by little...... Thank you for gesturing back and forth with me when my assistant was away... so sweet...!😭

The aisles were full of people all the way from the opening to the closing of the show on both days, and the energy was amazing.

I'm glad I was able to participate in both FF and Comiket!
