Was planning on putting this off till the weekend but I guess I couldn’t resist. This episode and the emotions it fills me with, I can’t even really describe it. Whether it’s the first time or the hundredth, it hits hard. And that’s another key difference in this from other shows is that there’s no real clear “evil.” It’s not good guys versus bad guys but just two teams competing for the top. It just hits different and I’m glad to see you appeared to have felt it too. Now, notes. Some stuff I’ve already mentioned in the past about the number of major/national tournaments but to reiterate, there is a second chance technically for them to go to nationals. The Spring tournament. The thing about it however is that it happens around the time that third-years should be preparing for their college entrance exams and such. So with that it’s not uncommon for teams to be looking at newcomers to “pass on the torch” so to speak. No spoilers here on what our Karasuno third years decide to do but just something to have in mind when you see the OVA about new players joining teams for instance. Also, not a note, but would love to know your dream team lineup now that we’ve come to the end of the first season. If it’s all Karasuno, that’s cool too but I can’t help but remember how interesting you found some of the Nekoma and even Aoba Josai players so I’m just curious to see where you’d land on a squad. Also, which team position/role you liked the most. Whether it’s wing spiker, middle blocker, setter, libero, ace, pinch server, decoy; would love to know where your heart is leaning. Oh, and who you’re interested in knowing more about as the series progresses. Have a great day!

It’s just such a wholesome show and I love it for that! I’ll be checking ou the OVA and the Strat of season 2 this weekend so I’m really looking forward to the clarification with this Spring Tournament. Dream team lineup? Great question! Some positions overlap but the following would be chaotic but fun! Suga, Noya, Tanaka, Hinata, Kenma and Tanaka’s bestie from Neko What about you?! I find myself really gravitating toward the libero position 😁
