A somewhat flashy, new challenger appears. “Mad Dog” indeed. For notes, not really much to add. I think you’ve got this. You were right on the money with the whole cross vs straight thing. Aoba’s blocker was intentionally trying to cut off Hinata’s ability to do a cross shot to force him to do a straight which would go right to one of their back row players. On a different note though, I will add that the wing spiker tends to be the left outside position but since Mad Dog was seemingly rushing the middle I don’t necessarily know that he had subbed into a wing position. Other than that, as always, looking forward to your next reaction as things continue to heat up. Oh, and cool shirt. The logo looked like a volleyball at first glance so it seemed a fitting a choice.
