With the way you’re taking ownership of Karasuno, us members of your channel may need to chip in to get you a jersey so you can get even more into it ha! That said, some notes. You were right with the breakthrough. It was just through his arms and not like actually breaking through the block. Some new and exciting seedlings are starting to sprout up in the teams of all the previous challengers. When it comes to the whole situation with Yamagucchi, “pinch server” is his position. The “float serve” is his specialty/type of serve. Pinch-positions are positions filled by specialists of a certain type to help out a team in crucial situations. Like if they’re “in a pinch” as the saying goes. As far as the whole setter thing between Kageyama and Oikawa, well it can get kind of deep. It’s to do with experience vs raw talent. Oikawa has a wealth of experience and Kageyama has like prodigy-level talent. Oikawa could be considered talented amongst normal setters but against someone like Kageyama, he wouldn’t even be considered on the same level. Kageyama however has so much more potential because he has this wealth of untapped talent but is held back because of his lack of experience. Like, he still carries that trauma of what happened to him in middle school and although he lucked out by joining Karasuno where everyone’s extremely caring, considerate, and driven, even he can see that if he plans to stay in volleyball, he’ll need to learn to be more adaptable since other teams may lean more toward his middle school team and exclude him instead of being like Karasuno that accepts him and tries to fit into his way of doing things. Now, Oikawa has been shown to have mastery over adaptability though. So, in a sense they’re both envious of each other because they feel like they’re held back by their lack of the other person’s gifts. It’s the reason why Karasuno lost last season. With all the talent Kageyama has, Oikawa was able to use his experience to figure out their most likely attack and find the best way to defend against it. Hope that provides a bit more clarity.

Yo a jersey is not a bad idea! I’m going to have to look into getting one 😁 That provides so much more clarification! They kept showing aspects of the rivalry but I haven’t really thought about it at the deeper level. I read this just in time since the next reaction I will have to record will be the final set between the two teams so I’m going into It with a much better understanding of those two so thank you!
