In these episodes I think the message of the arc becomes clearer. I really enjoy how the tournament highlights the intentions of those who would participate. People who fight for glory, people who fight for the prize, those who watch to satiate their need for violence, and even the organizers who coordinate it all to use others' talents for profit. I don't feel that a lot of tournament arcs speak on those things which is why I really enjoy the dark tournament. The corruption also adds a nice twist.
