Wednesday Art #2, Wildmane (Patreon)

Sometimes you go your whole life searching for the other half to your soul, but for these two seemingly starstruck lovers, worlds of both big and small had to literally collide to bring them together.  Now, they dare the world to try and split them apart.

He is the Bard without a Soul, the master of seduction and sus, a Devilkin searching for his lost Soul which was sold to Demons when he was a child.  Now Willihard Tellis searches the Realms for traces of its existence, for he was promised that should he find it before he dies, he can change his entire fate.  He is best friend to legends, ally to the unallied, and general chaos stirrer with a heart of gold.

She is a warrior, a knight, a soldier sworn to the ancient Giant kingdoms' attempted restoration.  Wielder of the Everburning Blade, Ildmane was raised over the centuries of her young life to despise, detest, and distrust the efforts and actions of the 'smallfolk' of the other Mortal races.  Only through the timely and suave diplomacy by a certain Tiefling Bard has she finally opened her eyes and mind to the great world beyond the war to restore the fallen Giant Empire.  While much of the smallfolk world continues to baffle her, as long as she had Willihard, she will continue to find a way to bring peace to their warring peoples.

Introducing one of my favorite DND ships of all time, formed between the character played by my best friend Sax, Willihard the Bard without a Soul, and the Fire Giantess Ildmane.  Together they are Wildmane, an unorthodox couple with just as much emotional depth as playful innuendos.
