After the current war is finished, Harry is set to start expanding his reach outside of the North. Therefore, an interesting idea came to my mind. Should Harry attempt to reclaim Valyria and restore the land to create an enclave for a magical community in Essos? The way forward is to resettle the Wildlings into the restored lands of Valyria.

Or should he focus more on shaping the Iron Islands as a natural expanded territory of Avalon and focus the expansion of a magical community there and in the North?

I certainly wouldn't push for an immediate "recolonization" of Valyria. Establishing some bases could protect the country from Euron-type archaeologists and provide a safe outlet for future expansion. At the same time, some exploratory expeditions will make it possible to prepare plans for future settlement and avoid problems or disasters...
