Personally think a lighting bolt for both the center and top of the hammer would go better especially since the name godsgrief pays homage to the storm king.

From a historical perspective, a head spike on top with a spiked tail cap would be more accurate. The hammer head for blunt trauma/damage through plate while the spikes give the possibility of piercing plate during a murder stroke.
