I knew I won't be able to do the regular monthly livestream, but I wanted to do *something*.

And this something has turned out to be a look at Giada (a live audio and MID loop machine) and Carla (a non-linear plug-in host) for creating live music performances.

It also seems that after watching this, Geonkick's developer (Iurie Nistor) has decided to pick the development up again!

He wrote in a comment:

Hi! I am creator of Geonkick. Thank you for your support. Sorry, probably I have made a wrong conclusion about the tool I am developing, and also I have lost the track of its real purpose. Now I have restored the development and I am working on implementing new things, but the development will be slower for a period. In v2.6 there will be changes in the kit midi UI that will permit to set any input MIDI keys for every instrument. In the next releases I'll implement my new ideas starting with zooming of envelope area.

You can download my Giada and Carla project files here, so you should be able to play with this setup yourself!
