In this video I take apart a recent project that I've made.

In most unfa vlog videos I'm making something as you watch - here I take a different approach and dissect something I have created off-screen.

The good thing is that this video is way shorter, and hopefully more efficient with the information, because all the mistakes, and experimentation happened before I recorded it. That can also be a downside.
Let's see how will it go. I have another track breakdown video coming up  rather soon so we can explore this style of videos at least a bit more and see what are the benefits of that over my usual, more "improvised" style.
Let me know how do you feel about this.

As usual - you can download the complete Ardour session to learn or remix it. Have fun - if you make anything cool, let me know :)

Enjoy!

UV#23 Track breakdown: "Void" (WIP) - made with Ardour and Zyn-Fusion

unfa vlog #23 I'm talking about a track I that I've created using Ardour 5.12 and Zyn-Fusion. I also used some other open-source LV2 plugins. I talk about interesting bits and how I got the things to sound the way they do. I talk about a cool FM bass that works with modulation wheel using Zyn-Fusion Macro Learn functionality. --- · Timestamps: (to be filled in - contributions are welcome!) · Downloads: http://goo.gl/wFczWm - Ardour 5 Session · Links: http://ardour.org - Ardour DAW official website http://zynaddsubfx.sf.net/ - ZynAddSubFX / Zyn-Fusion official website --- If you feel thankful and want to support what I do, you can: http://patreon.com/unfa - donate monthly via Patreon http://unfa.bandcamp.com - buy my music on Bandcamp http://paypal.me/unfa - donate directly via PayPal --- If you want more of my digital presence, check these places: http://www.facebook.com/unfamusic http://mastodon.social/@unfa http://soundcloud.com/unfa Now go, make some music!
