This must have been in 1995.  Back in a previous strip called "PCU" (Pitt City University, a couple of years before the movie PCU came out) Will Coyote had been roommates with a zombie named "Mister Dead."  (FILE NOT FOUND)

Mr. Dead had a theme song which went something like "A corpse is a corpse, of course, of course ..."
