I feel like fuma has been sending her blessing quite a lot.

Guh, I hate having religious visions while in the shower. I know cleanliness is next to godliness, but still. It's August! You know what that means? It's Lovecraft Month! Good ol' Howard was born in 1890 on August 20th, therefore I declare all of August a month long holiday. On that note... Doodle Request: To add to the bizarre pseudo-continuity that has been created around your cartoon depictions of the birthday-boy in question, I'd like to request a family introduction. We have already seen Howard meet Vanessa's family, so lets see Vanessa meet Howard's family. Howard has introduced, or rather Vanessa has introduced herself, to his two aunts. (Real life Lovecraft was raised by his aunts after his father died and his mother was institutionalized.) They are all together having tea in the living room and Howard's two aunts are showing Vanessa embarrassing baby pictures and regaling her with embarrassing stories of his childhood. Vanessa is having a grand time. However, this evening has taught poor, poor Howard that there is indeed an emotion worse than the soul-crushing fear of the unknown: pure and utter mortifying embarrassment. A few notes to keep the doodle from being too complicated: you don't need to stress making the room very detailed and since a doodle with four characters, two of them being ones you've never drawn before, is a tall order, you don't need to base the aunts on actual people. In fact, if you like you can have them being mostly off-screen or obscured by something. Like how in the Peanuts comic, and others, the adults were never directly shown. Could be a funny running gag if we never see the aunts' faces. I'll leave it up to you. As always you have full creative license to change and rewrite things in the doodle if you think it would work better or be funnier. P.S. Damn, the walls of text I use for requests are getting longer than they used to be.

It's a requirement that all children have to go through - the embarrassing ordeal that is The Showing of the Baby Pictures.
