MegaPeacockMan must have gotten a glimpse of Duchess Catherine O'Daisies smoking a pipe and "looking crazy" in order to request this image.

Never quite understood if she paints her eyelids like that and you're always drawing her with her eyes closed.... or if she has no irises. Most of the times it'd make sense for her to be in a coy closed eyes look with the expressions she makes, but i guess she just does not have irises, because it would make no sense.

It was explained way back in the Ballad, but that's a lot of reading so here's the short version: Her eyeballs are blank, because of "magickal elfly power" and also from drinking too much Usquebaugh and Persoc-Itoome.
