It is September, and it is raining pretty hard where I am.

Venery:  Will have to be framed so nothing naughty shows.

Also remember that the essential nature of a Doodle is that it must be done in an hour or less.  If I spend more time on them than that, it becomes unprofitable for me.  SO .. keeping that in mind, if there are elaborate & specific references I have to look up & study, that's going to cut into my actual drawing time, resulting in a sub-par Doodle.
